What You Will Learn
About CCIE Security Expert Program
• The CCIE Security Expert Program is designed for advanced learners who want to build expert-level Cisco security skills and prepare for CCIE-style lab thinking, troubleshooting discipline and real enterprise security architecture.
• The course follows the brochure roadmap and covers security architecture, ASA and FTD perimeter security, NGFW, FMC, IPS, VPNs, segmentation, TrustSec, infrastructure hardening, identity services, content security, cloud security, automation and capstone readiness.
• Students learn how expert security engineers design, configure, validate and troubleshoot multi-technology security environments under time pressure.
• Training focuses on topology strategy, policy workflow, configuration accuracy, packet capture review, traffic-flow validation, log interpretation, evidence collection and remediation planning.
• Learners practice expert habits such as reading requirements carefully, planning before configuration, validating every change, documenting assumptions and isolating root causes methodically.
• The program connects Cisco security technologies with operational decision-making, including firewall policy, VPN design, segmentation logic, ISE authentication flows, threat analysis and secure access design.
• Students also explore APIs, REST, JSON, XML, YAML, Python awareness and controller integrations so they understand automation direction in modern security operations.
• By the end of the program, learners will have a strong CCIE-style portfolio with topology notes, configuration logic, verification outputs, troubleshooting reports, policy matrices and final capstone explanation.
